Benefits and Policies:
Local employees:
Full health
coverage is available at the oil companies’
clinic for local employees and their
immediate family members. In addition to
this, the cost of obtaining spectacles is
reimbursed up to an annual limit.
Expatriate employees (town based):
- Free private health care is provided
for the employee and their spouse in
addition to the facilities available at
the oil companies’ clinic. For employees
on family status, additional private
health coverage is available for
children at a nominal cost.
- Furnished accommodation, inclusive
of utilities, is provided free of charge
- Paid return flights for all
accompanying family members at the time
of annual leave to point of origin.
- Local schooling (North American,
British and International curriculums
available) is provided free of charge or
assistance with fees is provided for
education elsewhere.
Expatriate employees (field based,
single status only):
- Free private health care is
provided for the employee and their
spouse, there is also a small clinic
at each camp.
- Furnished accommodation,
inclusive of utilities and all food,
is provided free of charge
- Paid return flights to point of
origin plus travel per diem for each
field break.
Expatriate employees (all):
- Expatriate employees are
employed on an annual renewable
contract.
- Expatriate employees receive
an annual salary review.
- Expatriate employees receive
an indemnity payment subject to
the successful completion of
their contract.
